There's always a point to rewriting, even if you don't get a chance to change the grade. If nothing else, you get a better paper, which can lead to publication or conference presentation. What good does it do to assign a peer review of a paper after the paper has been turned in, and due to be turned in on the day of the final exam, which there is none? Am I crazy for feeling as though this is a pointless exercise?????!!
